VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” news eurovision Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers through public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via this Scientology Europe report.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
